Iftar at Governor House

On Monday, the 27th of March 2023, a group of student leaders and faculty members from Habib University were invited to an Iftar dinner at the Governor House, Sindh, by Governor Kamran Tessori.

In a display of hospitality, the Governor has announced that he will continue to organize and host Iftar dinners for rest of the Ramadan as well. Therefore, students and faculty members from various public and private universities will be invited to the iftar.

The Office of Student Life at Habib University led a group of students from the university to attend the event, which took place on the evening of the 5th day of Ramadan. This experience allowed the students to not only partake in a communal meal during the holy month, but also to visit the governor's house, and engage in conversations over dinner.

The students and faculty members from Habib University left the Governor House with a greater sense of understanding and appreciation for the importance of fostering relationships between each individual and community.
