HU CARNIVAL

On 22 September, the Week of Welcome (WoW) for the batch of 2027 came to a close with one of Habib’s most anticipated and loved events: the HU Carnival!

The carnival this year was a roaring success hosting not only students from all batches but also their non-Habib friends, giving outsiders a slice of the HU experience. Multiple individuals from the student body stepped up and set up their own unique stalls, showcasing their crafts, while some were outsourced. The items at the stalls ranged from crocheted goodies to embroidered tote bags and from fun, fandom stickers to stunning art pieces. There was even a stall selling funky socks! And the food options were to die for. Pizza, fries, gol gappay, nachos, waffles, ice cream, dumplings, khow suey, you name it, HU carnival had it. There were also games, rides, lucky draws and so much more! Because of all this, the event was a wonderful bonding experience for the freshmen who were just finding their footing.
